The Finland Futures Research Center, hosting the Helsinki Node of The Millennium Project, has launched a call for papers for its upcoming 25th Futures Conference, which will be held in Turku in June, 10-12.
This year, the conference will be focused on the “Futures of Technologies – Mutual Shaping of Socio-Technical Transformations“, with the aim to create a cross-disciplinary science platform for participants to meet, share, and discuss the futures.
The conference program will consist of keynote lectures, parallel paper sessions and participatory workshops. The conference will aim to generate multidisciplinary, stimulating and critical discussions that promote networking between people interested in futures issues from different backgrounds and perspectives.
FFRC invites researchers, practitioners and alike from universities, research institutes, companies, governmental and non-governmental organisations to submit their abstracts no later than 31 January 2025.
