
Future4Europe conference on Future-Oriented Collective Intelligence – May 15-16, 2025

On May 15-16, 2025, the Futures4Europe Conference 2025 organized by Eye of Europe project will bring together leading experts and researchers to explore the transformative potential of Future-Oriented Collective Intelligence (FOCI) in addressing complex, interconnected future challenges. Hosted at the Skydome in Vienna’s vibrant 7th district, the event will focus on innovative approaches to strategic foresight, policy-making, and systemic transformation.
Many members of The Millennium Project network will participate, contributing to key sessions. Those on the first day include: Collective Intelligence for Futures and System Transformation, featuring, among others, Martin Kruse, Copenhagen Node Chair, and Philine Warnke on Futuresilience: Harnessing Collective Intelligence for Resilience-Building, and Blaž Golob, Slovenia Node Chair, on Future-Oriented Collective Intelligence for the “City of Well-being; Foresight Cultures for Policy & Administration, featuring Sirkka Heinonen, Helsinki Node Co-Chair, on How to Use Paradoxes in Foresight and Policymaking?; and Feminist Futures, featuring Thays Prado, Vice President of the Foresight Europe Network, on Fostering Adolescent Girls’ and Young Women’s Collective Intelligence for Global Advocacy and Policy Making.
On the second day, the Foresight Europe Network (FEN) Annual Meeting will focus on Collective Intelligence in European Foresight’s Pasts and Futures, chaired by Lena Tünkers, FEN President, and Thays Prado, FEN Vice President, and will be featuring Ibon Zugasti, Deputy Director and Spain Node Chair, on Collective Intelligence Network Structures in The Millennium Project, and Eva Buchinger on Participatory Constellation Work for Intergenerational Dialogue.
