On May 16, 2025, the Foresight Europe Network (FEN) held its Annual Meeting during the Futures4Europe Conference in Vienna, Austria. The session, titled “Pasts and Futures of European Foresight Producing Collective Intelligence,” was chaired by FEN President Lena Tünkers and Vice President Thays Prado. The meeting featured contributions from Ibon Zugasti, Deputy Director of The Millennium Project and Chair of its Spain Node, and Eva Buchinger, a sociologist specializing in systems theory and complexity.
Central to the meeting was a live constellation exercise facilitated by Eva Buchinger, as reported by the report of the meeting now available. This interactive session invited participants to physically represent various foresight approaches—such as Corporate Foresight, Loving Emotional Foresight, Embodied Foresight, and Nature—within a shared space. Through this embodied methodology, attendees explored the dynamic relationships, tensions, and synergies among different foresight paradigms.
