The Dubai Future Forum 2024 will take place in Dubai on November 19-20, 2024, for the third year in a row. This year, under the umbrella of the Empowering Generations theme, the Dubai Future Forum will aim to reflect diverse viewpoints on the UN Summit of the Future and then support in implementing the core outcomes and recommendations of the Summit.
Gegi Karuri-Sebina, Paul Saffo, and others are confirmed keynote speaker of the event so far. Many others from The Millennium Project will attend the event.
A new feature of the 2024 forum is a series of schedule sessions called “Learning Days” that will take place the day after the conference, on November 21, 2024, at the Emirates Towers. Among these, The Millennium Project will host a session on “Global Futures Research: What concepts, methods and management to use?” from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Here, Steven Kenney will be joined by Jerome Glenn, CEO of the Millennium Project, Sirkka Heinonen, Chair of the Helsinki Node, Ibon Zugasti, Deputy Director and Chair of the Spain Node, José Cordeiro, Venezuela Node Chair, and Yadira Ornelas, Mexico Node Co-Chair.
Lena Tünkers, Foresight Europe Network vice-president, will also join a session on the following topic: “Without words: in which languages are the futures talking to you?” scheduled on the same day from 2 pm to 5 pm.
