Charles Perrottet, member of The Millennium Project's Board of Directors

Charles Perrottet is the visionary behind the Futures Strategy Group, a firm he helped to establish from the ground up. Before taking the helm at FSG, Charles was at the forefront of Deloitte Consulting’s Scenario Practice as a Firm Director. His expertise in strategy didn’t start there, though; he honed his skills at The Futures Group, where he led the Strategy Practice for a decade. Charles’s projects have spanned a wide array of sectors, including marketing, customer service, strategic planning across agencies, business continuity post-9/11, and strategies for the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, financial, automotive, air transportation, and banking sectors.

For over 30 years, Charles has been the go-to advisor for top executives, guiding them through the creation of strategies that leverage market dynamics and technological, regulatory, and competitive shifts. He’s played a pivotal role in shaping the futures of leading companies across a spectrum of industries, from financial services to technology.

Before his consulting career, Charles played a key role in corporate development at Hasbro as Vice President, where he oversaw strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Under his watch, Hasbro not only led its industry but also delivered unparalleled returns to its investors over a decade. His innovative thinking at Toro led to the creation of the “Sno Risk” program, a marketing masterstroke that significantly boosted the company’s market share.

Charles’s academic credentials are equally impressive, with an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a magna cum laude degree in Marketing from Lehigh University. His insights have filled the pages of esteemed publications such as Management Review and the Journal of Business Strategy, and his expertise has been sought after by The Wall Street Journal and Business Week. As a speaker, he’s shared his knowledge and experiences across the U.S. and Europe, captivating audiences with his forward-thinking approaches to business strategy and planning.
