The Azerbaijan Node joined COP 29

On October 21st by the invitation of the Signora Elena López Gunn, Director of the ICATALIST – innovative Spanish company, focusing on conducting studies and research about Environmental issues, Social Innovation and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation I participated at the round table on “Nothing about youth without youth” in the Pact of the Future, held in the frame of the COP 29 in Baku. Elena López Gunn is a specialist in water governance, water security, climate change adaptation, social-ecological systems, social innovation, collaborative decision-making and public policy evaluation.

We gathered together to discuss the future of our world, specially the voices that are too often left out of the conversation: the voices of youth. As we stand at the crossroads of progress and uncertainty, it is crucial always remember this simple but powerful principle: ‘Nothing about youth without youth.’ This phrase isn’t just a slogan; it’s a call to action. It demands that we, as a society, reject the notion of shaping policies that directly impact young people without their active participation.
