While The Millennium Project team is interviewing a number of recognised experts in the future of AI, to help to unearth the most important considerations about the governance of the transition from ANI (Artificial Narrow Intelligence) to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), David Wood, Co-Chair of the UK Node of the Millennium Project with London Futurists and member of the AGI study team, has recently launched, in collaboration with Transpolitica, an open survey on the advent of AGI called “Key open questions about about the transition to AGI“.
Link to the survey: https://transpolitica.org/projects/key-open-questions-about-the-transition-to-agi/
As well as containing the questions, that page includes discussion points that provide more context for each question and selected comments from people who have already submitted answers to the survey.
The survey is not part of The Millennium Project AGI study. However, it takes inspiration from ideas from these interviews the Millennium Project is carrying out. The UK Node will be creating a “Round 2” of this survey, focusing on some areas where a deeper dive seems particularly necessary.
The first round of the survey will remain open until the end of June. For more information, please contact David Wood at davidw@deltawisdom.com.
