“Beyond the now – Living the Future” is an international conference in Futures Studies hosted by the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Center for Futuristic Studies in cooperation with World Futures Studies Federation. The in-person conference will take place in December 6-8, 2022 at the PMU campus in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The event will combine plenary sessions, guest speakers, panels, workshops and experiential happenings, as well as the presentation of award-winning scientific papers. In addition, the organizers will curate a “living the future” exhibition of emerging futures work and artefacts developed both at PMU and externally.

Experts from The Millennium Project Nodes will be joining the event, such as Shermon Cruz, Philippines Node (Session 05 – Global Futures), William Halal, Senior Associate of The Millennium Project (Session 02 – Economic and Business Futures), Lydia Garrido Luzardo, Uruguay Node, and Ibon Zugasti, Spain and FEN Nodes.
