New publication on Foresight Methods by RIBER

Guillermo Gàndara, President of RIBER at Tecnologico de Monterrey, recently published a new edition of his book on “Métodos Prospectivos para la exploración de futuros en empresas, ONGs, gobiernos y la agenda global“.

This second edition offers practical methods for strategic foresight, helping organizations explore future scenarios and make anticipatory decisions. Written by 24 experts, the book highlights the importance of foresight in addressing global challenges post-COVID-19. It serves as a valuable resource for integrating future thinking into governance, business, and education.

The work is the result of contributions from 24 academics and experts, coordinated by Professor Guillermo Gándara, providing a comprehensive look at strategic foresight, future studies, and practical tools for organizations. The book will be presented at upcoming conferences and is seen as a key contribution to future literacy.

Among these contributions, Concepcion Olavarrieta, Co-Chair of the Mexico Node of The Millennium project, contributed with a chapter on The Millennium Project titled “Nuestra Agenda Común para un futuro global ONU- Millennium Project“.
