Chosun-TV brought me to Seoul to address the Global Leadership Forum. Youngsook Park, The Millennium Project Korean Node Chair was a key organizer for the Forum. Ban-ki Moon, the former United Nations Secretary-General opened the Forum focusing on the interdependence of air quality issues and climate change.
I then followed him to introduce some long-range issues (reminding the audience that most babies born in Korea today will see the year 2100) and current actions to help turn around global warming. You can see the presentation at:
Paul Werbos, Member of the Millennium Project Planning Committee also addressed the Forum on long-range disasters of global warming and approaches to prevent it. He included a link his video presentation of the detailed long-range chemical sequence of global warming if don’t turn around the current trend that could eventually reach 1000 ppm of CO2. (This begins around 5 or some minutes into this video: https://vimeo.com/342606790)
The following day I gave a more detailed address on the Work/Technology 2050: Scenarios and Actions to the World Economics Institute (an association of senior business and academic leaders of South Korea). I stressed some issues of the future of artificial intelligence and need to start working on governance.
