On July 5, 2024, the Peru Node of the Millennium Project, with his Chair Fernando Ortega, organized a presentation on “#LaMuerteDeLaMuerte: Ingeniería, futuro, inmortalidad y singularidad en 2045” hosting José Luis Cordeiro, Chair of RIBER and the Venezuela Node.
Scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú, San Isidro, Lima, this gathering explored the convergence of engineering, technology, and the concept of immortality, and discussed the future potential of reaching singularity by 2045.
A couple of days before, José Luis Cordeiro met with the Peruvian economist Hernando de Soto, giving him the “Latinoamérica 2030” book by the Mexico and Bolivia Nodes of The Millennium Project and speaking about the Millennium Project main ongoing studies during a political summit on July 3, 2024.
