WAAS (World Academy of Art and Science) and other partners are organizing the 6th international conference on the Future of Education, a 3-day online event focused on “Education for Human Security” from March 7-9, 2023.

The conference examines the relevance and applicability of the human security approach to different fields of higher education. It seeks to generate awareness and initiate active discussion among educators and universities on the central importance of the Human Security Approach as an integral component of higher education. The conference will be followed by publication of papers for widespread free dissemination, preparation of a report on Education for Human Security, and development of new course materials on this subject.

Among the distinguished speakers of the event, you will also find some of our Node Chairs and members of The Millennium Project, such as: Mariana Todorova, Bulgaria Node, on March 8 for the session “Education for human security”; Jelel Ezzine, Tunisia Node, on March 9 for the session “Paper presentations exploring the role of education in promoting human security”; and Mila Popovich, Montenegro Node, on March 9 for the session “Education in the Arts for Human Security”.
