The world faces several global challenges, which is climate change and the challenges that follow in the sectors of agriculture, food and energy. The Davos Economic Forum classified climate change as the most dangerous existential threat humanity faces. The Russian-Ukrainian crisis has manifested itself as a major turning point for the world. Future scenarios and simulations for such crisis must portray expected models to calculate the magnitude of the risks to each sector, especially the aforementioned sectors. In Egypt, there is a great challenge, the increase in population and the pressure on facilities and resources. Furthermore, educational and health services must provide to a large number of people. To add, there are expectations of higher unemployment rates and an increase in social problems. Lastly, redistributing the population increase over a larger area may entail higher costs that exceed available funds.
The main theme of ICFSRM 2022 Conference is ” Climate change, challenges and threats “with the following objectives: Managing the risks arising from climate change in the sectors of agriculture, food security and energy supply chains; Adaptation to climatic changes; A focus for studying the risks of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis; State of the future and global population challenges dilemma of the demographic changes and alternative corrective choices in Egypt; Networking between all on the local, regional and international levels; Discuss and interchange the point of views and opinions for different possible futures for AFRICA and MENA region; Explore different development road maps with their global and future challenges; Climate change and its impact on tourism.
