On September 22, 2024, the Reception hosted by the Nordic UN Global Compact Networks and Finnish American Chamber of Commerce will bring together leaders from across the Nordic region to discuss urgent sustainability challenges and innovative solutions. This high-profile reception for Nordic Companies is set to take place during the 79th UN General Assembly in New York, and to provide a setting for meaningful conversations that bridge the gap between business, sustainability, and international cooperation.

A key highlight of the reception is the participation of Ibon Zugasti, a renowned futurist and deputy director of The Millennium Project, as well as chair of the Spain node. Zugasti, who is also the director of Prospektiker, will contribute his expertise on global foresight and sustainability. Another speaker for the event is Lotta Tähtinen, Director, Office of Intergovernmental Support and Coordination for Sustainable Development, UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
