The 24th Futures Conference focused on the futures of sustainable management of natural resources. The event was organised in June 2024 by the Finland Futures Research Center, hosting the Helsinki Node of the Millennium Project, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Institute of Finland (Luke).
The Futuura 2/2025 special issue includes articles giving insight to the keynote speakers based on their speeches as well as introduces some of the sessions organised during the event. Among the contents included in the publication, a specific report on the Special Millennium Project Session on “Deconstructing Paradoxes of Work via Causal Layered Analysis (CLA)“, preceded by a keynote speech by Jerome Glenn, is also included, together with references to the launch of “Our World of Futures Studies as a Mosaic“, a publication including many contributions from The Millennium Project.
