Futures Frontiers, a programme of events conducted in partnership by the Icelandic and UK Nodes of The Millennium Project, continues with a series of free meetings during April, 2022. Two extra events in March 2022 will also discuss the Rise and Implications of Artificial General Intelligence, sharing the key findings from their recent global survey on the emergence and impacts of AGI. The Rise and Implications of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

In these two sessions, Rohit Talwar of Fast Future and David Wood, Founder of London Futurists will share the key findings from their recent global survey on the emergence and impacts of AGI. The surveys have surfaced some fascinating results and insights and help to highlight the priorities as we prepare for the disruptive impacts of AGI. Session one (March 24th) will focus on when AGI might emerge, where it might emerge, who might lead the development, and its most significant positive and negative impacts.

Drawing on a ten year deep dive of over 400 technologies, this session will examine how technologies such as AI, blockchain, computing platforms, and communications architectures might evolve and the transformational opportunities they could enable.
