Foresight Europe Network Reconnects and Welcomes New Members

The Foresight Europe Network (FEN), regional node of the Millennium Project, recently hosted an online “Catch-Up & Welcome” session on September 11, 2025 to reconnect existing members and welcome nearly 40 new participants to the network.

The meeting emphasized FEN’s informal, open, and collaborative spirit, allowing members from across Europe to share updates, exchange foresight practices, and discuss the network’s ongoing initiatives. Highlights included updates on rebranding efforts, including a refreshed website and logo, supported through member crowdfunding, and the launch of a new WhatsApp community to foster continuous engagement.

Participants also engaged in small breakout groups, brainstorming themes for future sessions and exploring what they hope to contribute to—and gain from—the network. Looking ahead, FEN announced a new series of regular online sessions planned to begin toward the end of the year.

The session reflected FEN’s commitment to open-mindedness, curiosity, and forward-thinking collaboration, strengthening its role in energizing Europe’s foresight community within the broader Millennium Project mission.
