On May 19, 2023, the National Press Club’s International Correspondent’s Committee organized a meeting on “China’s Sri Lanka Foray“, a book discussion on the recent publication called “Teardrop Diplomacy” by Asanga Abeyagoonasekera, President of the South Asia Foresight Network and Chair of the Sri Lanka Node of The Millennium Project.

Together with Asanga Abeyagoonasekera and Jeffrey S. Payne, Jerome Glenn will join the discussion focused on Sri Lanka present political-economic crisis, attempting to draw a better understanding of the underlying political and social distress in everyday life in Sri Lanka and what brought the fragile state to this politica and economic disaster within a short period of three years.
