
ASA 2025 to Host Session on Visualizing the Future – September, 2025

The upcoming Italian ASA 2025 Conference, themed “Data, Statistics, and AI for the Well-Being of People and Organizations,” will take place from September 17 to 19, 2025, in San Marino, Italy.
A highlight of the event will be a Solicited Session chaired by Simone Di Zio, Co-Chair of the Italy Node of The Millennium Project, titled “Visualizing the Future: How to Effectively Communicate Future Scenarios.”
The session will feature a range of thought-provoking presentations, including:
- “Visualizing the Future of Italian Families: A Network-Based Fuzzy Clustering Approach to Classifying Delphi Outputs,” by Simone Di Zio and Yuri Calleo from G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti and Pescara.
- “A Comparative Analysis of Visual Methods to Communicate Future Scenarios,” presented by Mario Bolzan and Manuela Scioni from the University of Padua, Andrea Barbato from IUSVE Venice, Mara Di Berardo, Communications Director and Italy Node Co-Chair of The Millennium Project, and Yuri Calleo from G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti and Pescara.
- “The Importance of Complexity for Foresight,” delivered by Prof. Dr. Elif Cepni from Karabuk University, Turkey.
The session aims to explore innovative approaches for effectively communicating future scenarios, emphasizing the role of data visualization and complex foresight methodologies.
Researchers and professionals interested in contributing to the conversation are encouraged to submit their papers through the official Call for Papers.
