Anticipatory Governance – May 8-10, 2025

Sirkka Heinonen and Toni Ahlqvist, Co-Chairs of the Helsinki Node, and Adrian Pop, Chair of the Romania Node, will be speakers at the “Anticipatory Governance” conference in Trento on May 8-10, 2025, exploring ways for moving from an essentially reactive bureaucratic organization to an anticipatory one.

Adrian Pop will join the session on “Future and governance”, May 8, with a speech on “Anticipatory Governance, Anticipatory Innovation Governance.”
Sirkka Heinonen will join the session on “Participatory Foresight”, May 9, with a speech on “Radical narratives as strategic tools for making sense of complexity – how to communicate futures of work to stakeholders and contribute to anticipatory governance,” while Toni Ahlqvist will join the session on “Adaptive and Hybrid Governance” on the same day with a speech on “Anticipatory organisations and future-oriented regulation: Emerging policy pathways in marine logistics and pharmaceutical industry.”
