World Futures Day is held every year on March 1st by The Millennium Project in collaboration with others to spark a global conversation on the future. This will be the tenth edition of this 24-hour around the world conversation about our common futures!
We want to make sure young people are also part of the conversation. As a result, Teach the Future, in collaboration with The Millennium Project and with the support of many partners and friends, launched the Young Voices version of World Futures Day a few years ago on March 1st. The WFD Young Voices is collateral event of the main WFD global conversation and it is specifically dedicated to young people.
For The World Futures Day 2023 – Young Voices, Teach the Future will conduct a round-the-world conversation on the future for young people on March 1st, starting at 17:00 (5:00pm) evening in whatever time zone you are in.
We need two volunteers for every time zone in the world, one 25 years of age and younger and the other 26 years of age and older. Spots are filling up fast – Please fill out this Google Form and tell us which time zone you can be available. We will contact you with more details and next steps!
Teach the Future is a global movement that promotes futures thinking for students and educators. Their aspiration is that every young person is prepared to navigate an uncertain world and has the agency to imagine and create their preferred future. On March 1, we provide a platform for intergenerational conversations about the future to take place!
