Two separate trips to Spain in September.
The first trip was to Malaga to address the Eisenhower Fellows conference on the future of work along with Shahid Mahmud, co-Chair of the Pakistan Node. As a result Eisenhower Fellows will be invited to participate in forth coming national MP future work/tech workshops and participate in MP Nodes in their countries. We may also help them create a collective intelligence system for all their Fellows to better collaborate to address global challenges.
The second trip was to Santander to speak at the Global Youth Leadership Forum along with Jose Cordeiro (Venezuela and Spanish MP Nodes and RIBBER, CEO) and Veronica Agreda (Bolivian Node Chair). While there Ethiopia’s Minister of S&T expressed interest in creating the Ethiopian Node and studies on the future of Ethiopia. Then I went on to Madrid to meet with a great combination of leaders organized by the Telefonica Foundation and Ibon Zugasti (Chair of the Spanish Node) and Jose Cordeiro (Venezuela and Spanish MP Nodes and RIBBER, CEO). Telefonica Foundation and maybe others will sponsor the Madrid Work/Tech workshop for November or so.
I then addressed a larger group at also hosted by the Telefonica Foundation on an overview of the Future Work/Tech 2050 situation followed by a discussion with Ibon Zugasti and Sergio Alvarez (AI expert and Member of the Spanish Node.
