We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lena Tünkers as the new President of the Foresight Europe Network (FEN). This leadership transition marks a significant step forward for FEN, regional Network of The Millennium Project dedicated to advancing foresight practices and fostering collaboration across Europe.
Following the change, Epaminondas Christophilopoulos, Chair of the Greece Node of The Millennium Project, joins the growing circle of Past Presidents. The previous President, Nicolas Balcom Raleigh, becomes the new Past President and Lena Tünkers steps into the role of Present President, appointing the new Future President Thays Prado.
Lena Tünkers is an independent process designer and facilitator, specializing in Futures Literacy and Experience Design. She has worked with clients such as EIT Urban Mobility, Porsche, and the UN, and co-founded ZUKÜNFTE, a German network for future thinking. She holds a Master’s degree in Innovation & Organizational Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School.
Thays Prado is the founder of Feminist Futures and co-founder of Women Who Future(s). She has worked with NGOs, feminist funds, and UN agencies to explore feminist foresight. Thays has a background in communications, screenwriting, and gender studies, with experience in organizations like UN Women and the BBC.
We look forward to the new vision and dynamic leadership that Lena Tünkers and Thays Prado will bring to FEN.
