The new issue of Human Futures – March 2024, the World Futures Studies Federation magazine, is out. Among the various interesting contents of this issue published on April 19, 2024, contributions from The Millennium Project team have been also published.
Rosa Alegria, Co-Chair of the Brazil Node of The Millennium Project, discusses what the future of work may be, taking into account the changes that the pandemic has accelerated since 2020, with reference to the self-actualization economy the the work-tech study Work/Technology 2050. Scenarios and actions.
Leopold Mureithi, Co-Chair of the Kenya and East Africa Nodes, reviewed varius recent publications, among with the recent Mexico 2050 by Concepción Olavarrieta, Chair of the Mexico Node, Guillermo Gándara, and Jorge Máttar, members of the Mexico Node.
One of the new members of the Brazil Node, Gustavo Machado, also wrote a short piece on “Amazon 2050,” a new book about a narrative guiding readers towards preferable futures for both the region and the planet.
Finally, in the “International MSC & PHD Futures Studies Conference”, and particularly the WFSF students conference in Paris on Oct. 24, Narimane Djemili reported on the speech by José Cordeiro, Chair of the Venezuela Node and RIBER.
