Anprotec is an annual meeting on innovation and society that brings together participants from different sectors of the innovation ecosystem to promote in-depth discussions on innovative entrepreneurship. The goal is to discuss the role and perspectives of innovation environments and ecosystems, share practices, strategies, tools and trends. This year, the event, organized by Anprotec, the National Association of Support for Brazilian entrepreneurs, took place in Brazil in November 6-8, 2023.

During the last day, social, cultural, regulatory, and governance impacts, opportunities, and challenges of new technologies that are emerging  were the subject of one of a panel on “Emerging futures: impacts on society”.

Rosa Alegria, Co-chair of the Brazil Node of The Millennium Project,  introduced the 3 “Work/Tech 2050“ scenarios by The Millennium Project and used the positive scenario called “Self-realization Economy” as inspiration to reflect on the post-work world, in which we can free ourselves from the job economy and transform our relationship with work.
