Nadezhda Gaponenko, Moscow node chair, presented last year's work and the plans for this year.

During the last year, she participated in several activities as chair of the Moscow Node: State of the World Forum, Global Scenario Panel for the World Water Commission, Global Lookout Study, and the MP Interviews.

The article "Co- evolution of civilizations: poor and rich. Global scenarios for the new Millennium" Ted Gordon, Jerry Glen and Nadezhda Gaponenko, published in Russia stimulated interest in both content and methodology.

She was invited to prepare an article for a very prestigious book, which will be published at the anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

MP was used in Russian educational systems at Moscow University, Academy of Management, and the University of Economy and Law.

It was also used in the project "Technology Foresight", Tacis, Science and Technology Development in the Russian Market Economy, in collaboration with The Netherlands.

The MP was used by the foresight section of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

MP materials were used in a conference in Portugal on global issues and methodology.
