Anandhavalli Mahadevan, chair of the Indian Node, currently Vice-Chancellor, Mother Teressa Women’s University, Kodaikanal, and Rakesh Kapoor, co-chair of the Indian Node, President of Alternative Futures, New Delhi, couldn't attend the Planning Committee Meeting of March 14-15, 2002 in Washington, D.C.

Anandhavalli Mahadevan is very active in South India, organizes several conferences and deliveres speeches in which she mentions the Millennium Project, and disseminates its findings.

Rakesh Kapoor, who joined the Project recently, conducted absolutly outstanding interviews with S&T managers/decision makers (see the upcoming 2002 State of the Future).
