HISB|Hrvatski institut za studij budućnosti, or in English, CIFS | Croatian institute for futures studies is a scientific and research NGO association founded in October 2013, with the goal of promoting FORESIGHT scientific methodology. It became an official Node of The Millennium Project in February 2014.
The HISB network promotes a multidisciplinary approach to the development of inventive and innovative potential in the context of sustainable development. Through the promotion of ethical values in our work, the focus will be on networking with other institutions from public and private sectors in the field of complementary activities of similar organizations in Croatia and worldwide.
Our actions are focused towards analyzing the impacts of technological development through all aspects of social and economic activities.
The main actions framework of HISB/CIFS is best defined through the following activities:
- conducting scientific research with and for institutions and corporate entities,
- providing advice and expert opinions relating with the objectives of the association,
- organization of conferences and training seminars and issuing scientific research and other publications.
CIFS|Croatian institute for futures studies – after 2013's successful individual cooperation of some of the founders of our scientific and research association, we are proud of the fact that we had the pleasure to be an organizational partner of the conference ZAGREB FORUM 2014.
